ITF Croatia and General Maritime signed Collective Bargaining Agreement

ITF Croatia and General Maritime Corporation signed today, 24.06.2010 in Rijeka Collective Bargaining Agreement, that regulate rights, responsibilities and wages of Croatian seafarers employed on board Genmar tankers.

General Maritime Corporation, tanker company from New York is one of leading world tanker companies specialised for transportation of oil and oil products worldwide, having 38 tankers in their fleet. Thanks to Zorovic Maritime Services Ltd, have employed over 70 highly educated and experienced Croatian and Montenegro Officers. President of Croatian ITF Vladimir Svalina said that CBA is very important document that defines right, responsibilities and wages of seafarers and serves as legal basis for life and work of Croatian seafarers on board Genmar tankers.
